WR Rules

Golf Course Rules

The golf course is private property and there are certain policies & restrictions set by the golf course that need to be followed by homeowners.  If they are not followed, homeowners risk loosing walking privileges on the cart path. So please make sure that the rules are followed.  If you see someone violating any of the rules below, please call it to their attention.

Golf Course Rules for Homeowners:

  • No unsupervised children allowed on the golf course at any time. This includes ponds and streams.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the golf course or cart path at any time
  • Homeowners or their guests are prohibited from use of the golf course without first checking in at the pro shop.  You must be a member or pay required fees to play the course.
  • Pumping water from pools or pool covers on the golf course is prohibited at any time.
  • Fishing in any of the ponds is prohibited.

Association Rules

There are several rules and regulations that are part of the protective covenants:

  1. Climbing on the boulders of the 27th Street roundabout is not permitted, due to liability issues. Pictures may still be taken standing on the grassy areas.
  2. The speed limit in Wilderness Ridge is 25 mph, as in all other residential areas of the city.
  3. All motorized vehicles should be operated by only licensed drivers.
  4. Vacant lots must be mowed regularly. The HOA will give ample opportunity for the owner to comply. Lots remaining non-compliant will be mowed and the cost passed to the owner.
  5. Homeowners should remove all reflective or steel stakes and keystones that line front footage of your lots. These markers are permitted only when there is construction within 300 feet of your property. Prior to snow removal season, uniform stakes with reflectors will be placed on each lot by our snow removal contractor. These reflectors will provide a better guide and visibility for the person plowing and protect your property from damage during snow removal.
